Startup Classes for Entrepreneurs

The MIT Enterprise Forum is offering a series of online classes in starting a company called Start Smart Class, and the next cycle starts on Monday, May 18 (see here & here).  Unfortunately, some of the MIT Enterprise Forum websites are not working at the moment.

Start Smart is a hands-on class for entrepreneurs who are serious about launching a startup. CEO’s, successful entrepreneurs and investors who’ve done it all before are invited guest speakers and an integral component of the learning experience!  Many people who take the class are at the very early stage concept level – the class will help you develop your idea.

The class is highly recommended for concept, pre-funded, and startup stage Founders who need to define and/or refine their company’s target market, product positioning, business model, and go to market strategy.

Eight classes focus on value prop, customers & positioning, legal issues and other critical issues for founders.  And, of course, capital raising and pitching.  Very worthwhile.
